Ilayathalapathy Vijay acknowledges Powerstar

Vijay was the guest of honour at the audio launch of "Onbadhula Guru" yesterday. The other stars who made an appearance include KS Ravikumar, RB Choudhary, KV Anand, the cast and crew of the film and also the Powerstar Srinivasan, who dances for an item number in the film. Each guest made their speeches and it was no shock that the crowd pullers were Vijay and Powerstar. Vijay launched the album and after the topic of "Onbadhula Guru" went on to say that his shoots with Santhanam for the movie "Thalaivaa" were all the more livelier thanks to Santhanam's stories of Powerstars antics. Powerstar in turn said that Vijay was just not the Ilayathalapathy but was also an Ilayathambi to him in future.

Happy back-to-back

Good times have started taking baby steps in the life of the ace comedian Vadivelu. Post his political riff-raff and movie market slow down, there is summer in his career. Sources say that he has signed his next movie with AGS Entertainment. The surprise factor here is that, he has been signed for the same pay package that he cleared when he was at his peak. Another surprise is that he has not been choosy about his pair this time. It doesn't end there. The veteran's eldest daughter is getting married on the 7th of April this year, in Madurai. He wants a bash that rakes up the entire temple town, for the wedding. He has even warmed up to invite his adversaries. Seems like bad times don't last forever, after all. But is he watching his steps?

Vijay and Sundar C?

We hear that Kushboo is engrossed in directing Vijay through her husband, Sundar C. The actress recently said that Sundar C will for sure do a film with Vijay and is waiting for the right script for him. And for now, Vijay is currently busy with his 'Thalaivaa' while on the other hand Sundar C awaits his 'Madha Gaja Raja' release which is a Vishal-Varalakshmi-Anjali starer and is currently working on his 'Theeya Velai Seyyanum Kumaru' which stars Siddarth and Hansika in the lead roles.

Thalaivaa' paces fast

Vijay's next movie is "Thalaivaa" and it is being directed by AL Vijay. Amala Paul does the female lead with Santhanam playing an important role too. It has been reported that the film is being shot in a fast pace with almost 50% of the shooting done. It is being majorly shot in parts of Mumbai and few parts in Spain. GV Prakash has composed the music for this film. Two songs in the film have already been shot with three more remaining. An action sequence was reportedly shot which was choreographed by Stunt master Silva.
