Vijay directs Vijay?

Looks like director A.L. Vijay's market is soaring in K'town after the accolades for his recent release Deiva Thirumagal. The filmmaker, who is in a relationship with hot babe Amala Paul (although he denies this) is all set with another VikramAnushka-Amy Jackson combo, which begins in December. According to trade sources, Vijay has been offered a whopping `2.5 crores remuneration for this ven ture from UTV, the produc ture from UTV , the produc tion house, which will be making the untitled film.

A little birdie informs DC that Vijay will be getting into the big league by roping in Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay for a flick to start in the second half of 2012. This will be after the lat ter completes Gautham Vasudev Menon's thriller Yohan Adhyayam Ondru.

Sources add that director Vijay's salary is much higher for this film. The latest is that he has bought a posh flat in Cenotaph Road near Trisha's bungalow.
