Kollywood is abuzz with news that Mahesh Babu has moved out of Ponniyin Selvan. The news now is that director Mani Ratnam has decided to replace him with Ram Charan Teja. The director was so impressed with Ram Charan Teja’s performance in Magadheera and so he decided on casting him for the role. It is also said that Priyanka Chopra, who was supposed to play the female lead, has backed off.
As of now, Vijay and Ram Charan Teja have been confirmed to play the lead roles in this movie which is based on the popular novel Ponniyin Selvan.
