It's likely that Shankar is keeping in mind the regional sensibilities while remaking 3 Idiots as Nanban, however, there remains to be seen whether he would like to include the kissing scene between the lead pair. Amir Khan and Kareena shared good chemistry in the original and hence the kissing between them seemed original. Will Vijay be able to pull off the same with Ileyana? Nanban is progressing day in and day out what with Shankar calling the shots in the studios in Chennai. Vijay, Jiiva and Srikanth play the three friends.
