Jayam Raja is known for making family entertainers, so when he announced a project with the Ilayathalapathy, there was a talk that he might compromise certain of his principles to suit the star’s style.
To this, Jayam Raja had said that it is indeed true that his films are mainly family entertainers, but it was all made in such a way that action sequences in the film are downplayed to a great extent because of the storyline. He added that all of his films have intense action scenes.
The director said, likewise, Velayutham will also have certain intense action sequences and Vijay fans are going to love it. The director clarified that he did not have to change his style of movie making for Vijay.
