Producer Aascar Ravichandran and Director Jeyam Raja are making every effort to release Vijay's highly-anticipated flick Velayutham on his birthday, which falls on June 22. The mass entertainer, which stars Vijay, Hansika and Genelia, is 80 percent complete and the word around town is that the songs and action sequences have turned out astonishingly well. Vijay plays a milkman, while Saranya Mohan appears in a bubbly role as Vijay's sister. Genelia will be seen as an investigative journalist and Hasnika will portray a village belle.
A sensuous song, composed by Vijay Antony was recently picturised on Hansika and Vijay in the city. Those present on the sets were raving about the sizzling chemistry between Vijay and Hansika during the shoot. There are some intimate scenes in the song, where the actress, clad in a glamorous outfits, was grooving with the Kaavalan star, said a unit hand who watched the sequence being shot. In the meantime, Vijay has flown to the Andamans for his upcoming flick Nanban.
