Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer Velayudham directed by Jayam Raja is almost complete now. The shooting part is over and the unit is getting ready for post production work so as to release the movie at the earliest. Bubbly Genelia and Hansika Motwani are pairing with Vijay.
Vijay is busy with Shankar directorial movie Nanban at present. Once this movie is done, he is expected to team up with Seeman for a proposed project titled Pagalvan. Aascar Ravichandaran is producing the movie. According to latest news, as the budget crossed the expectation, the producer is finding it difficult to distribute the film. There is widespread speculation that Velayudham is the remake of Nagarjuna's Telugu film Azad. The music rights of Velayudham, composed by Vijay Anthony has been bagged by Sony Music for a whopping price.
