Ilaya Thalapathy has just completed his film ‘Velaayutham’. The director of the movie ‘Jayam’ Raja came out public to talk about the movie. In a casual meet with media the director discussed and disclosed many things about his upcoming movie.
“It is out-and- out a Vijay brand commercial movie that has 10 times more action than his earlier films. We have tried many new things for Vijay that would definitely make a big appeal to all the Vijay fans and the Tamil cinema lovers alike. Each and every bit of the film was meticulously planned and shot to give that gigantic feel. It will be a big treat to all”, the director said.
The film features Genelia D’Souza, Hansika Motwani, Saranya Mohan and 15 villains. This is the first film that Vijay is working with Raja. While praising Vijay’s cooperation in the movie, the director said, “He is such a committed star that because of him the shooting never got delayed even for 5 minutes. He is a nice actor to work with. Even the co-stars and technicians enjoyed his company in the sets. We celebrated many people’s birthdays during the course of our shoot. Vijay himself bought birthday cakes for those birthday babies”
The film’s release date is soon to be announced. It is said that Vijay has tried new getups for this film. Vijay is also simultaneously working for Shankar’s ‘Nanban’ with Jiiva and Srikanth.
After completing ‘Nanban’ the actor is teaming up with a line-up of big directors. A R Murugadoss, Seeman and Goutham Menon are going to direct his movies in coming days.
